Job Description

The Oak Cottage of Santa Barbara is searching for an out-going, customer-service focused part-time Friday and Saturday receptionist. Our receptionist is responsible for answering all incoming telephone lines, greeting guests and visitors, handling the community’s business mail, assisting with business office functions as needed, and serving in a concierge role for our residents and their families. We are a dementia-care community for seniors. Ideal candidates will be professional and have previous customer service experience preferably in a receptionist or concierge role. A love for seniors is a must!

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Greeting visitors, arranging tours of the property, answer telephones
  • Handle incoming/outgoing mail and faxes
  • Maintain reception area in a neat and orderly fashion and know how to multi-task
  • Other clerical and administrative duties as necessary

The right candidate will possess:

  • 1 or more years of experience in related position (preferably industry related)
  • Reliable, and willing to get the job done
  • Outstanding customer service skills, with a flexible, positive personality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Requirements
